chevron zipper pouches

Hello there! I had some leftover fabric from my chevron tote and wanted to make some matching zipper pouches. While this is not my first time installing a zipper or using my zipper foot, it was still a bit intimidating. Everyone that every talks about installing a zipper always says it not as scary as you think, and guess what? They're right! There are so many tutorials in the blogosphere and I actually read several before I made mine. You can find the tutorial that I followed here... Noodlehead. The cute typewriter fabric is from Type by Julia Rothman...you might have seen it also on my ebook covers here. I just did a quick applique zig-zag stitch on the machine after I sewed the zipper on but before I sewed the panels together.
