i spy quilt

I recently made an "I spy" quilt for my little girls and want to tell y'all (or maybe just a you...lol)ALL about it!

While reading one of my favorite blogs by Amy Smart, a diary of a quilter, I came across her post about how she just finished collecting a set of I spy squares and she was selling them as a kit on Etsy AND it included the quilt pattern. HECK YEAH...SOLD! I was seriously very lucky to nab that, because they went FAST!

I just love how it turned out and the vintage feel to it! I just used fabric I had in my stash (don't remember where I bought them but probably JoAnn's) for the boarders and then I used a cute little critter fabric I found at JoAnn's on the back.

Thanks for stopping by!

Melissa

(ps - isn't little relish #1 and little fur relish #1 just so cute?)
