sweet pillow friends and small blog meet...

Happy 4th of July week! I haven't been sewing much this week, but do have some cute woodland pillows to share.

I am also linking up with Lily's Quilt's' Fresh Sewing Day and Small Blog Meet. So if you stopping by from there, hello! Have a seat and take a look around my blog. Feel free to share the love and follow me on bloglovin and I'll return the favor (there is a button on the right). Glad to meet you!

I love to sew almost anything...dresses for my girls, quilts, and other fun little things. I made each of the relishes a pillow friend to have in their bed. Aren't they sweet? I took the pictures while big relish (formally known as little relish) was at school and little relish (she is now 13 months and no longer my baby relish so she has also been promoted to little relish...womp womp) was napping...so know photo bombers today. If you new here, you will soon learn that my sweet girls love to photo bomb my photo shoots in the most adorable way...especially the quilt ones as seen here and here. Love them!

The owl is for big relish. Her room is in teal, red and pink centered around the Ruby collection by Bonnie and Camille for Moda. I had some charms left and gave the owl a little patchwork tummy. She loves it! The pattern is from a adorable pattern book I picked up at my new favorite quilt shop (see picture for title). It had a bunch of sweet pillows, quilts and such in it. I hope to make more to share soon!

Little relish gets the little Zakka inspired bear. I found the pattern from a book I snatched up at Half-Price Books. I love going there for these kinds of books. Save the money for more fabric. Lol. I used flax-seed linen for the body and a little woodland print I found at JoAnns a bit ago for the pocket tummy.

I am also linking up with all the great link parties to the right--->

Thanks for stopping by!

Melissa

ps -sorry for the phone pictures this week
