Zakka 2.0 - Yum Yum Apple Bib

I missed last weeks Zakka 2.0 because we were on vacation visiting family! But, one of the first things I did when I got back was make my project for this week!

This week is an adorable apple bib. I decided to make mine using iron-on laminate. This was my first time using laminate and it was super easy! I laminated each of the pieces then patched them together. I added cotton batting for the middle and topstitched/quilted the seams. Make sure you use a non-stick presser foot! I got mine on Amazon. I also got the laminate on Amazon but I have seen it at JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby. You could also buy laminate fabric but that stuff is pricy and the exact same thing!

Not sure what big relish is thinking....she is so funny and expressive! AND isn't my model adorable!!

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out LRStitched's blog about this sew along and the Flickr group, too!
