It's my first time participating in the yearly "Pets on Quilts 2013" over at Lily Pad Quilting where everyone links up their pet or a pet themed quilt and show it off.
Ummm....ADORABLE! Someone even liked up a hedgehog! haha
I was thinking about doing a photo shoot with my Dolly-olly girl, but it's just to dang hot outside and a quilt on the grass in the backyard where two dogs relieves themselves doesn't sound like a great idea. I knew I had gotten some recent pictures of my sweet Dolly on some quilted pillows and decided those would be perfect to let her sweet sad looking face shine!
And I present Dolly on a Quillow...
Dolly is half Bassett hound and half cocker spaniel. Her fur doesn't get any longer than this and is as soft as the day she was born. She is a sweet girl and loves her sisters. She has a crazy obsession with chocolate (of course she doesn't get to have any) and will steal gum from your purse if you leave it on the floor or couch. She is the best vacuum in the world when it comes to food crumbs. Now if I could get her to vacuum her hair, then she would be worth her weight in gold.
Thanks for stopping by and reading more about our Dolly. And if any of you are worried about Mr. Bailey Bear, not to worry, he is just as loved but not as photogenic on quilts.
Bailey is half yorkie and half fox terrier. He loves to sleep in-between your legs and under a quilt. His favorite thing to do is check the mail and hunt for bunnies (so he can give them kisses, seriously!).
