Little Words, Big Finish

Summer is going full force here in Texas and between teaching kids sewing camp, vacation, and swim lessons for the girls, I am already feeling pretty tuckered out. I have been meaning to write this blog post for over a month but just never got around to it. You might have noticed that I also released a new pattern called Pickle Relish and that sucked up most of my June and then volunteered to do some charity quilting for the #floodtexaswithlove campaign (check out the hashtag on IG too!) and before I knew it, June was over and July was already two days in! Such is life, right?

Well, if you follow me here or on IG, you already know about my adventure in hand-dying (started at QuiltBLISS) and what I decided to make with all my dyed fabrics. If you missed it, here it is in all it pictoral glory with no commercials...enjoy! --yeah, I'm that lazy--

Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July (or just a plain old weekend for my non-American friends)!

XOXO

  1. Awesome piecing and quilting . . . and fabric dying, of course!

  2. What a stunning quilt! I love the dark background. It looks like a colorful night sky.
