happy valentine's day

Just wanted to share what the girls are wearing for Valentine's Day this year! I wish I could get them to sit still together for more than three seconds! But hey, I did get the dresses in the same picture...SCORE! hehe

I made little relish #1's dress by using one of her dresses to make a bodice pattern. The top is made from jersey knit that I purchased at Hobby Lobby and the bottom fabrics are by Amy Butler from her Love collection (thought it was fitting :). I used by handy dandy embroidery machine to make little heart appliques and then hand sewed them to the dress. For baby relish's dress, I used my go-to peasant dress pattern that I talked about here. I did add light interfacing to the sleeves to make sure they didn't stretch too much.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

From special dates to candlelight dinners, from surprises to hunting for gifts together — Valentine’s Day is much more than just whispering sweet nothings to each other. Even those who are away from each other in terms of distance, try and spend time with each other on this day.
