happy valentine's day

Just wanted to share what the girls are wearing for Valentine's Day this year! I wish I could get them to sit still together for more than three seconds! But hey, I did get the dresses in the same picture...SCORE! hehe

I made little relish #1's dress by using one of her dresses to make a bodice pattern. The top is made from jersey knit that I purchased at Hobby Lobby and the bottom fabrics are by Amy Butler from her Love collection (thought it was fitting :). I used by handy dandy embroidery machine to make little heart appliques and then hand sewed them to the dress. For baby relish's dress, I used my go-to peasant dress pattern that I talked about here. I did add light interfacing to the sleeves to make sure they didn't stretch too much.
